Just to say.........

Ive done it! Yes, ive finished my Diploma i am soo sooo very chuffed with myself.. Just waiting for my assessor to send a courier out to collect my work, for it to be checked signed off and then wait for the certificate.
Weve got a new placement, a lovely 15 yr old girl. she is doing ok.
My step daughter Chloe is 18 on Sunday so i need to get down to some serious crafting!!
and in July im going to be a first time Nanny and i cant wait .
Ive got a few cards that ive made at my card making workshop and when i get time i will photograph them and get them on here plus more pics of my dog Holly. who is growing SO big!!
So hopefully now there will be some "me time" for me. Cant wait
In May i am off to another brilliant crafting weekend at a hotel near Bristol. organised again by  Alli and Janet of  Jobocrafts.. I think im right in saying there are still a few spaces left. It is on May 18th 19th & 20th. hotel staff are brilliant really kind and helpfull

Westpoint last Friday

well, here is all the things i treated myself to at Wetpoint craft show :) love these wooden frames to alter, im going to have great fun with these!

and all these yummy cds from Debbie Moore, my fair lady was the set for £19.99 well i couldnt resist could i lol .

The Tim Holtz ink pads were a good deal, 6 for £20 yeahhh only 4 more to buy and ive got all his ink pads.

I got some stamps from Little Claires and the rest from Inkylicious and i love there stamps. I had a great time there, went with my friend Lesley, she drove us there, i made up our picnic lunch, fair deal me thinks lol

I also met up with my friend Nikky the Minx lol  Hadnt seen her for a good few years, so it was great to see her, probably be another few years before we speak or see each other again, we dont live that far from each other.]Also bumped into friends Steph, Sharon and Jenny.

What about this carousel then!!! Bargain yeahhhh. They were on sale for £24.99 and i had been after one for agesss. By the time we got to them i had spent all my money :( But!!! Drum roll dadadadadadada A lady had just brought one back as it was damaged! as you can see from the photo. So he said i could have it for £20 ..Hmmm thought about it?! yup! ok stuff it im going to buy it lol, didnt help with Les stood next to me saying, you know you want it and you have given up smoking lol... Cheers Les

Anyways thats me for today, got to get back to my Diploma work, a week Friday i have to have ut finished, signed off and handed in, so very boring at the moment as this is all im doing and i really want to go into my craft room and play!1

So sorry

No time to craft, no time to play, makes Wendy a dull girl lol
Sorry i really am,but what with christmas, still having problems with  my back, fostering and doing level3 Diploma for fostering i just aint got anytime for myself!! :(
BUT and i say but!1 Diploma has to be finished by Feb 18th and then the fun begins!! I am currently also clearing out my craft room in the loft. loads of odds and sods to Ebay soon ( once ive found the time to take photo's of everything.) Boring job i know, but it has to be done, We are planning to have a loft conversion done sometime this year, so we have to have a major clear out!! Ive got/did have stuff of my Daughters, stuff of my sons but both have had their stuff back.. so now just Lisa and Chloe's stuff to sort out..
AND!! the biggest announcement of all is........... drum roll......... Im going to be a Nanny in July this year, first timeNanny i might add. and i cant wait!
Right thats enough of me
off to my card making class, so at least i get some crafting done lol

I forgot to put these on here from my craft weekend away

Helloo sorry im not putting much on my blog lately, but ive been busy with other things and as you can see by my previous post a new puppy to look after. We are at the moment making christmas advent calenders, wall hangings and canvases, ive still got christmas cards to make as well yet lol.

These are some tags that i made at my craft weekend beginning of October and had forgotten that i hadnt put them on here.

We done the amazing tim holtz tags i just love his work  and i am slowly getting back into it :)

A journal book which i love and in the middle of making them for my step daughters for christmas and the lovely pencil case box, using pva glue and acrylic paints, cheap version of the crackle paints.

Meet Holly

 Awww just look at those cute innicent eyes lol

Couldnt say no when we went to view her, she is soo adorable. She is a 10 week old Blue Merle Collie. 

Well, ive made a few cards but not had chance to put them on my blog yet, i will try and do so next week, No placement at the moment and colin got no works, so not having a brilliant time at the moment, but i have  managed in the last few days to get some christmas shopping done!!

Today Colin and i are starting on the Advent box, also got the 12 days of christmas hanger to do... Several bracelts made will try and put some on here.

A few cards

Here are a few cards that ive made in the last 3 weeks, im finding it very hard to sit and make a card, the 3 christmas cards were made at my card making class on a thurs night. the bottom 2 was an order for the company i work for, our admin girl is leaving us, such a shame as she is a lovely girl. I had to  make 2 one from the staff and one from us foster carers.

ps sorry its short and sweet with no explanation on how i made them etc but im still suffering with my back, my doctor has now referred me back to my consultant

Im still here

well the first 6 weeks after my surgery everything was going well, then suddenly i had this terrible pain in my right side but going into my back as well. Only way at the time that i could describe it was like having permenant stitch in my side. it then went on to feeling like something is digging in my side... Went to Docs and he said its a trapped nerve!! so im back to complete rest and dosed up with Tramadol.
I feel really bad as ive had to let a customer down and tell her i cant do her wedding stationery, how bad do i feel!! Gutted.
So still no card making for me :( loads of rest for now but it is sooo frustrating.. TJ our placement left us last Monday, at the moment we are doing emergancy respite for a 14 yr old boy. seems ok so far, but then u can never tell, its what we call the honeymoon period where they are well behaved, do what you ask them to do. and do everything he can to make us like him..lol we shall see.

Hopefully soon i will be back with a card or a piece of jewellery , i have got some that ive made, i might try and put them on here later
